Warren Dickman spent his early years in Brooklyn, N.Y. being educated in the public school system before moving to Colorado where he attended the University of Denver. But it was in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, that his interests first turned to writing. He was a regular contributor to several periodicals before becoming a columnist and editor for two of them. After several years of writing non-fiction he was encouraged by Judith Krantz to turn his pen toward the field of fiction. Since then his passion for boating, fishing, and treasure hunting have become clearly evident in his work.
